Uniquely Designed Space for Fashionable Eyewear

The design of Insight Never Lies stands out due to its use of vintage materials and construction approaches. Despite the advancements in modern materials, the designer deliberately chose traditional decoration materials to create a space that evokes the spatial memory of centuries past, while still being in line with today's fashion trends.

The floor of the boutique is a standout feature, fully paved with reinforcing cement in a geometric spherical shape imprinted like the annual rings of trees. This unique flooring adds depth and character to the space, making it far from plain. Additionally, the walls feature a rough texture created by screeding a trowel across the wet concrete. This intentional roughness adds visual interest and enhances the overall design.

Measuring 6570 mm x 27340 mm x 300 mm, Insight Never Lies provides ample space for customers to browse and try on eyewear. The layout of the boutique is carefully designed to optimize the flow and illumination, ensuring that customers can easily find the glasses that suit their needs.

One of the key objectives of the design was to create an eyewear boutique that not only offers stylish frames but also serves as a clothing accessory. The interior design arrangement was thoughtfully planned to increase consumer loyalty and enhance turnover. By focusing on the overall experience, Insight Never Lies aims to create a space that goes beyond the typical glasses store stereotype.

The project, which started in November 2015 and finished in January 2016, required extensive research and coordination. The designer worked closely with the client to understand their needs and preferences, resulting in a space that effectively combines functionality and style. The design team overcame challenges such as setting out the space and aligning it with the Lindberg glasses design concept, ultimately finding a compromise that satisfied both parties.

Insight Never Lies has been recognized for its exceptional design and was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2018. This award acknowledges the boutique's well-designed, practical, and innovative approach, meeting professional and industrial requirements. The space is respected for its integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, contributing to a better world.
